D. W. Jacobs is a playwright, director, actor, and producer. He co-founded San Diego Rep, where he served as Artistic Director for twenty years. He resigned to focus on writing. His play, R. Buckminster Fuller: THE HISTORY (and Mystery) OF THE UNIVERSE, has had over 800 performances in San Diego, San Francisco, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Montreal, Washington, DC, Cambridge, MA, Ventura (two LA Ovation awards for actor and production), Asheville, NC, and San Jose. It will play next at Southern Illinois University and Wroclaw University of Technology (Poland). He lives near the Gold Line in Highland Park.
Ralph Waxman is a writer, producer and performer based in Highland Park. He was a charter staff member at the San Diego Repertory Theatre, and has produced theatre, film, comedy, radio and music thought his career. He has performed standup in New York, London, Las Vegas and Toronto, and was the creator and host of the critically acclaimed talk/sketch show The House of Waxman. His work includes community based organizing with a focus on arts development.
Raul Cardona is a writer, actor, director, producer and educator who has worked with theaters such as San Diego Repertory Theatre, La Jolla Playhouse, El Teatro Campesino, Los Angeles Theatre Center, Mettawee River Theatre Company, Mo'olelo Theatre Company, Inner-City Arts, The Unusual Suspects and the Watts Village Theater. He is currently working with Partnerships to Uplift Communities at CALS Early College High School in Eagle Rock., and will be directing Pachuco Fig Boogie at the Great Streets Fig Jam on Saturday, March 19th, 2016..
